A Message from Pastor Paul

Dear Church Family,

I hope you are as excited as I am about where we are headed and how close we are to walking into this new building.  At the same time, I can’t stress to you strongly enough how important the next several months are going to be in the life of our church.

2009 has already been a great year and we have built up a lot of momentum.  As we move into summer, there is a real temptation to slow down and take it easy.  But we just can’t do that.  We are right on the brink of huge things and it’s time to press in.  I like what Pastor Tim Gilligan in Ocala says: we are going to have a summer JUMP, not a summer SLUMP.  If you have a vacation planned, then you should go and enjoy it to the full.  But when you’re here, I really want to encourage you to stay diligent about pursuing the things of God in your own life and your role in the church.  Stay consistent in coming to church.  God is moving in our services and we miss out on receiving His impartations for our lives when we’re not here.  And be faithful in serving.  Whether you realize it or not, you play an important part in where we are headed, and the closer we get, the more important it is that we all press in together at full speed.

Remember, moving into the new building is not the end of the journey – it’s just the beginning of where we are headed as a church.  Maria and I love you and we are so blessed that you are on this journey with us.
